What's the difference between a certified translation and one with notarial legalisation?
A certified translation is signed and stamped only by the translator accredited by the Ministry of Justice. Notarial legalisation means that, after the document is translated, a public notary certifies the translator's signature. Most state institutions require documents translated and notarially legalised.
Can I have a document translated if I only have a photo or a copy?
Yes, we can translate from a scanned copy or a clear photo sent online. However, note: if you need notarial legalisation, the notary will always require the original document to be presented at the time of legalisation.
How much does an apostille actually cost in Moldova?
The total cost has two parts: the state fee charged by the Ministry of Justice (which ranges from 130 MDL to 300 MDL depending on urgency - 1, 3 or 5 days), plus our representation fee (from 150 MDL) so you don't have to queue.
